La UNESCO encourages states to develop educational activities related to World Heritage, and to involve schools, universities, museums and other authorities (Article 27.2 of the World Heritage Convention). States are urged to stimulate in their peoples respect for and appreciation of heritage through education and information programmes’.
For this reason, in 2022 the School with the See of Egara was born, in order to integrate schools into the Candidacy of the See of Ègara to UNESCO World Heritage.
During the school year, children from schools participating in the project work on various activities to disseminate the monument, which are presented in a day open to the public that takes place on April 18 (International Day of Monuments and Places).
The children are the protagonists of concerts, organize and make the guided tours of the See and prepare a program of activities that includes performances of popular culture and a sample of cooperatives of artisan products of the See of Egara elaborated by the students themselves.

The See of Egara Candidacy has established training and educational strategies to improve skills in the fields of the protection, conservation and embellishment of the heritage of the See of Egara.
